Gilbert Muyesu is an ICT professional from Kenya, currently serving as Assistant Director of ICT at the Ministry of Information, Communications and The Digital Economy. He has a strong background in IT governance, risk and compliance, and previously held the position of IT GRC specialist at Equity Bank. He holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and professional certifications including COBIT 5 for IT Governance and Huawei Data Centre technologies. Gilbert is driven by a passion for digital transformation in the public sector. He values innovation, leadership and collaboration, and is committed to using technology to strengthen institutions and improve service delivery.
