Becky is an accomplished Advocate and Prosecutor currently heading the Cybercrime Section at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. With a unique career blend of courtroom advocacy and technology-focused law enforcement, she is a recognised leader in navigating the complex intersection of digital evidence, national security, and legal ethics. Becky brings direct, on-the-ground experience in combating cybercrimes to the field of AI policy, with a focus on developing ethical and enforceable regulatory frameworks that protect civil liberties while harnessing technological progress.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the University of Nairobi, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
